This website is operated by Ace Tile Ltd, trading as Polished Concrete & Stone ("we", "us", "our"). We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number 06978650), with our registered showroom at Unit 9, Queens Lane, Bromfield Industrial Estate, Mold, CH7 1JR.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information that helps us respond to you and improve our service. Specifically:

Information you give us

When you complete our enquiry form, quote request, or showroom booking form, we ask for:

• Your name - so we know who we are speaking to
• Your email address - so we can reply to your enquiry
• Your phone number (optional) - if you would prefer us to call
• Your company or organisation (optional) - for commercial and trade enquiries
• Project details - such as the service you are interested in, approximate budget, timescale, floor area and location
• Preferred visit dates - if you are booking a showroom appointment
• Anything else you tell us in the message or notes field

You do not have to provide optional information, though it helps us give you a more accurate response.

Partially completed forms

If you begin filling in one of our forms and enter a valid email address, but leave the site before submitting, we may receive the details you had entered up to that point. This lets us follow up on enquiries that were interrupted. If you would rather we did not hold these details, contact us and we will delete them.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the site, we may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at our site. This is standard web analytics data and is not used to identify you personally.

3. How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

• Respond to your enquiry and provide a quotation
• Arrange and confirm showroom visits and site surveys
• Carry out any work you subsequently instruct us to do
• Keep records of our correspondence and projects

• Formspree - processes and delivers our website form submissions to our inbox
• Google - provides website analytics and advertising measurement
• Our web hosting and email providers - store the website and our correspondence
• Professional advisers - such as our accountants, where required

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so. Some of these providers are based outside the UK; where that is the case, appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.

6. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help websites function and measure how they are used.

• Essential storage - to remember your cookie preference so we do not ask you on every page
• Analytics and advertising cookies - provided by Google, to measure website traffic and the performance of our advertising

7. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you get back in touch. Where we have carried out work for you, we retain project and financial records for at least six years to meet legal and accounting requirements. Information we no longer need is securely deleted.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your information secure, including encrypted connections to our website and restricted access to our systems and inbox. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your data.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Ask us to delete your information, where there is no ongoing reason for us to keep it
• Ask us to restrict how we use your information
• Object to processing based on our legitimate interests
• Request transfer of your information to another provider
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month. There is no charge for making a request.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

10. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults enquiring about flooring work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised date at the top. We recommend reviewing it occasionally.
